Light Bulbs
Reduce the amount of energy you use by fitting low energy
light bulbs. These use one fifth of the electricity of normal bulbs,
last ten times as long and each saves around £10 every year on

Fluorescent tubes and low energy light bulbs can be taken to the Community Recycling Centres in Edinburgh, East Lothian, The Scottish Borders and West Lothian. See COMMUNITY RECYCLING CENTRES.
Low energy light bulbs can be placed into the Light Bulb Recycling Point located at the recycling area in the Meadowbank Sainsbury's car park.
The Electric Centre run a low energy light bulb and fluorescent tube recycling scheme when you buy new bulbs from them:
