Aluminium is made from the mineral ore bauxite. Recycling aluminium reduces
the need to mine for bauxite ore, which is often found underneath
rainforests.

Buy drinks in returnable or reusable bottles when possible, rather
than cans.
Place into Packaging Points in Edinburgh, Can Recycling Points in
East Lothian, Midlothian and West Lothian or recycle via kerbside collections.

Take to a Community Recycling Centre where they will be passed on
to a scrap metal merchant.
